지난 2022년 12월 9일(금) 여의도 국민의 힘 중앙당사 사무실에서는 국민의힘 중앙위원회 체육분과(위원장 최태영) 임명장 수여및 송년의 밤 행사가 있었다. 이날 최양현 간사의 사회로 진행된 행사는 제1부 임명장 수여밍 2023 체육분과 발전 계획및 활성화 방안 과 2부 송년의 밤 행사로 나뉘어 졌다.  특히 이날 김성태 의원이 직접 참석하여 중앙당 체육분과의 역할이 가장 기대가 크며 앞으로 2023년에도 중앙당의 가장 큰 기틀을 가지고 앞장서서 중앙당을 발전 할 수 있기를 바란다 는 격려를 아끼지 않았다. 

On December 9, 2022 (Fri), at the office of the Central Headquarters of the People's Power in Yeouido, the appointment of the Sports Division of the People's Power Central Committee (Chairman Choi Tae-young) and the year-end night event were held. The event, hosted by Choi Yang-hyun, was divided into the 2023 Sports Division Plan and Revitalization Plan for the First Division of the Appointment Letter and the Second Division of the Year-end Night Event. 이날 최태영 위원장은 수석 부위원장으로 이상권 부위원장을 '수석 부위원장'으로 임명하여 조직력을 좀 더 탄탄 하게 구축을 하고 체육분과의 위신을 높이기위해 특별 위원회를 구성하기로 하였다.  특히나 김영복 부위원장에게 전국의 청소년 정책 위원회 발촉에 관련된 현황과 수도권과 지방을 이어줄 수 있는 '중앙당 체육분과 위원 모집'에 관한 프로젝트를 의논하기도 하였다.  정치의 중요성은 단순한 파벌 싸움이 아닌 대한민국의 발전을 위한 길이다. 따라서 정통성을 가진 훌륭한 인재들을 흡수하여 탄탄하고 올바른 정치 교육을 통한 훌륭한 인재 육성을 통해 더 나아가 대한민국을 발전시킬 '인재육성'을 위해 이번 2023년 특별 정치위원 선발이 가장 중요한 핵심 역할을 하게 될 전망으로 보인다. 

On the same day, Chairman Choi Tae-young appointed Vice Chairman Lee Sang-kwon as the Senior Vice Chairman to form a special committee to build more solid organizational power and enhance the prestige of the sports division. In particular, Vice Chairman Kim Young-bok discussed the current status of the national youth policy committee and projects on the recruitment of members of the Central Party's sports division that can connect the metropolitan area and provinces. The importance of politics is not just a factional battle, but a path for the development of the Republic of Korea. Therefore, the selection of special political members in 2023 is expected to play the most important role in fostering talented people through solid and proper political education and further developing the Republic of Korea.
