지난 싱가포르에서는 11월 14일 ~ 11월 19일까지 니콜라스 그레이스 대표의 주최로 100여명의 인원이 참석하여 MTNA 교육을 성황리에 마치게 되었다. 이날 대한민국 태권도 진천수 사범(전 장애인 태권도 국가대표 감독)이 초청을 받아 다양한 기술과 태권도의 새로운 프로그램을 전달하는 유익한 시간을 보냈다.  

In Singapore, from November 14th ~ November 19th, more than 100 people attended the MTNA training under the auspices of Nicholas Grace. On this day, South Korean Taekwondo Master Jin Cheon-so (former head coach of the National Para Taekwondo Team) was invited and had a fruitful time delivering various techniques and new programs in taekwondo.

6일동안의 교육에 참석한 모든 교육생과 지도자들은 구슬땀을 흘리며 힘든줄 모르며 진천수 사범의 이야기에 단 한마디, 동작 하나하나 놓치지 않기위해 눈이 반짝반짝한 모습을 보이며 교육에 열중하는 모습을 보였다.  MTNA 대표 니콜라스와 그레이스는 이번 세미나를 주최하며 한국의 수많은 사범들 중 국제적인 경험과 또한 비장애인과 장애인을 모두 관리 감독할 수 있는 사범들을 수소문 하던중 진천수 감독이 올림픽 무대에서 장애인들을 데리고 우승하는 모습을 수차례 보고난 이후 한국에 연락을 하여 직접 초대를 하는 열의를 보여 진천수 감독은 바쁜 일정이 있음에도 기꺼이 싱가포르까지 날아가 세미나 교육에 참석을 하게 되었다고 전해왔다.  

All the trainees and leaders who attended the six-day training were sweating beads and not knowing how hard it was, and their eyes were sparkling so as not to miss a single word or every movement of Master Qin Tianshu's story, and they were enthusiastic about the training.  MTNA representatives Nicholas and Grace said that after seeing Jin Cheon-su win the Olympic stage with disabled people several times, he contacted Korea and showed his eagerness to invite them directly, despite his busy schedule.

세계 모든 국가가 그러하듯 싱가포르 또한 현재 태권도의 인기가 급 상승 하고 있는 것은 현실이다. 이럴때 전통 한국 사범의 방문은 싱가포르 국가적인 입장에서 호재라고 말할 수 있다.  앞으로 싱가포르의 태권도 발전에 MTNA가 앞장서서 생활체육과 엘리트 체육 으로서의 태권도, 그리고 장애인 태권도 발전에 크게 이바지 할 것이라 생각한다. 

The reality is that Singapore, like every country in the world, is currently experiencing a surge in the popularity of taekwondo. In this case, the visit of a traditional Korean teacher can be said to be a good thing from the standpoint of Singapore's nation.  In the future, I believe that MTNA will take the lead in the development of taekwondo in Singapore, making a significant contribution to the development of taekwondo as a sports for life, elite sports, and taekwondo for the disabled.

참고로 진천수 감독은 말레이시아 국가대표팀 감독, 대한민국 장애인 국가대표팀 감독을 역임하고 '태권도 진흥재단과 국기원 강사' 활동의 이력을 보유한 최고의 지도자이다.

For reference, coach Jin Chun-soo is the best leader with a history of activities of the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation and Kukkiwon Instructor, serving as the coach of the Malaysian national team and the national team for the disabled in Korea.
